No, you may constantly not able to receive incoming calls. It is highly recommend to use  a basic analog phone without LCD or an analog phone with LCD which is self-powered by battery.

Yes. From the web console, go to Setup > Satellite Selection

  1. Click on your choice of visible satellite
  2. Click Select button to point the antenna to the selected satellite. The satellite selection will be saved, and each time you power up the terminal.

CME Error 529” means ‘user authentication failure’. You may encounter this error when the APN’s username/password is wrongly set in the Primary Profile.

Check with your SIM card provider to give you the APN’s username/password.

Once you have the correct APN with username/password, go to Web console Data > Primary Profiles > APN

  1. Click User defined and enter the APN
  2. Enter Username/Password
  3. Click Update Settings
  4. Reboot Terminal to save changes (Settings > Admin > Reboot terminal)

The FX500/250/150 terminals don’t have a lock function on the Primary handset, analog phone and fax.  An alternative solution is the “Call Restriction” feature.

Call Restriction can be individually set on Primary Handset, 2-wire and fax port (to allow only whitelist of numbers or to allow only numbers from the phone book or to block a blacklist of numbers)

  1. From Web console, go to Settings-> Telephony-> Call Restriction
  2. Call Restriction: Click Enabled
  3. Restrict by: it’s either Call list or phonebook

**Call list can set the Allowed list or Blocked List numbers

**Phonebook, numbers on the phonebook will only be allowed

RJ11 cable length for 2-wire analogue phone is supported up to 100 meter. It is highly recommended to use a standard 2-wire analogue phone without its LCD display.
