Yes. To access the FX 500/250/150 remotely, it has to be configured as Router mode (Multi-User) and then activate the PDP context.
Any PC connected to the internet can access the web console using any web browser and type in the IP address assigned by the Inmarsat.
1. Check the Ethernet cable if good. If not, use another Ethernet cable.
2. Check if the TCP/IP connection of the computer is set to “Obtain an IP address automatically”.
- Go to START > My Network Places > Network Connection (or view Network Connection)
- Highlight the Local Area Connection icon and right click on your mouse, then choose Properties
- Scroll down and then highlight Internet Protocol TCP/IP, then click Properties
- Choose “Obtain an IP address automatically”, press Ok
3. Check if you can now access the Web console 192.168.1.35.
4. If you still can’t access the Web console, from the BDU there’s a small button near the SIM card slot “Safe mode button” (pictured on the right). Kindly press and hold the button, then power on the BDU. Noticed all LEDs will lit to amber/orange. Once, all LEDs start blinking amber/orange, release the Safe mode button.
5. Go to Web console and log in
6. Click Factory reset and enter the security code “0000” (if ask).
7. Reboot the terminal and check if you can now access the web console.
