TERMINAL LED is red

  • Restart the terminal
  • Restart the terminal in Safe Mode and perform firmware upgrade using the latest firmware release

ANTENNA (ADU) LED is red

  • Make sure that a correct type of RF cable is used and the length of the cable does not exceed the maximum length as indicated in the product specification
  • Make sure that the RF connectors (at both terminal and ADU ends) are secured
  • Make sure that a correct type of power supply is used and it supports maximum current ratings as indicated in the product specification. Recommended at least 10Amperes.
  • Make sure that the ADU is in working condition

REGISTERED LED is red

  • Make sure that a proper FleetBroadband SIM card is used for network registration
  • Make sure that there is no scheduled BGAN network outage

Retry by re-inserting the SIM card into the SIM card slot before restarting the terminal.

  • Check if you are using the correct FleetBroadband (FB) SIM card
  • Make sure the FB SIM card is already activated by your SIM card provider
  • Make sure that the SIM card is properly inserted into the SIM card slot
  • Retry by re-inserting the SIM card into the SIM card slot before restarting the terminal
  • Use another FB SIM card to isolate the problem

To initiate Factory reset on the terminal, follow the steps below.

  1. Log in Web console
  2. Go to Settings > Admin > Factory Reset
  3. Enter the Security code “0000” (Note: the security code is the same with terminal PIN).
  4. Click Factory Reset button. Press Ok if you want to proceed.

The terminal doesn’t have any hardware Factory reset button. However, you may initiate Factory reset via the Web console.

  1. Log in Web console
  2. Go to Data >Network Management > Network User group
  3. Look for Default Group and click Edit
  4. Click Activate PDP Context and Always On (Auto PDP Context)
  5. Click update and reboot the terminal to save settings

After reboot, the terminal will automatically activate a PDP context using the default profile

1. From the web console log in page, log in with the following

  •        Username: admin
  •        Password: (leave it blank)

2. Click the button “Log in”

3. A token code will show up. Take note of the token code

4. Email the Token code using the Technical Support form (navigate from drop down menu above) and the Support team will provide you the password.

6. Log in web console using the given password. Once log in, go to Settings > PIN > Terminal PIN and change the password to default (0000).

Factory Reset on the web console will reset all of the system configuration settings to default values and clear all user data from the non-volatile memory (e.g., phone book, call history, call logs, etc.).

Limited Reset on the Primary Handset will reset limited system configuration settings to default values and will not clear user data from the non-volatile memory.

No, you can’t use any other SIM card. Only Fleet Broadband SIM card can be use on the FX 500/250/150.
